Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse

Summary A registered nurse at Baptist Health is accountable for utilizing the nursing process and training provided by Baptist Health to provide safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care. The nurse is expected to demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking. The RN is responsible for understanding the policies and processes of the department and the organization and using them in a unified workflow with the healthcare team to create an exceptional patient experience with the best possible outcomes. Job Details Shift: Night Working hours: 7pm - 7am Authorized hours: 72.00 hours bi‑weekly Responsibilities Apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, maintain quality standards, and support patient outcomes. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing, licensed to practice in Arkansas. New RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or BSN preferred. Healthcare CPR certification required; ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS may be required depending on unit. Ability to practice as a full partner of an interdisciplinary team.
