Job Summary As a Verification of Benefits (VOB) Specialist, you'll be responsible forverifying insurance coverage and benefits for incoming patients, workingclosely with admissions teams, insurance providers, and billing departments.Your attention to detail ensures smooth onboarding and billing processes thatdirectly impact our patients' experience.

Responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies to verify patient eligibility and benefit information
• Document insurance coverage details, including deductibles, co-pays, and coverage limits
• Communicate benefit details clearly to internal teams and assist in determining financial responsibility
• Ensure timely and accurate entry of all information into electronic systems
• Stay up to date on insurance trends, policies, and requirements

Requirements

• Prior experience in healthcare, insurance verification, or revenue cycle operations preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and insurance portals is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
