What You'll Do

Manage & oversee all maintenance operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, Housekeeping staff, and Overnight staff.
Ensure the upkeep of building exteriors, interiors, walkways, and landscaping for a pristine environment.
Monitor & complete preventative maintenance tasks , ensuring safety and efficiency.
Perform emergency repairs & respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Oversee life safety systems and conduct regular fire and emergency drills.
Maintain compliance with all safety, building, and health regulations .
Coordinate with external contractors & vendors for larger maintenance projects.
Lead and train team members , ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Assist with transportation duties , overseeing community bus maintenance and compliance.
Communicate with the Executive Director , keeping them informed of maintenance needs and improvements.
What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
2+ years of verifiable maintenance experience in areas like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Strong leadership & organizational skills -able to manage a team and prioritize tasks.
Experience with tools & equipment used in construction, maintenance, and landscaping.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues efficiently .
Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, staff, and vendors.
CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Meet state or provincial health & safety requirements .
