We’re looking for a system administrator specializing in Linux-based systems to help us support a new client.As a system administrator on our project, you’ll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available while constantly looking for ways to improve it. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your system administrator expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You Have: 10+ years of experience in systems administration 5+ years of experience with systems administration on Linux operating systemsAbility to support daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web serversAbility to install hardware and software, perform systems upgrades, manage network accounts, and support network security, web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentationAbility to maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection servicesAbility to train staff on software applicable to their position, assist customers with information technology, monitor hardware and software system configuration, and provide instruction on computers and applicationsTS/SCI clearance Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems IAT Level II certificationLinux certificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.  CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
