Movement Search and Delivery is partnering with a Global Auto Company in the Metro Detroit Area to identify and evaluate an Accountant . On-Site / Hybrid / Remote: On-Site Salary Goals: $70,000 – $85,000 Base Salary + Bonus About the Role: Our client, a global auto organization, is seeking an Accountant with 1–5 years of experience to support the day-to-day accounting functions of its finance team. This position will play a key role in general ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, inventory accounting, and financial reporting while partnering with cross-functional teams across the business. What You Will Do: Prepare and post journal entries Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support inventory accounting and related analysis Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis Support internal and external audit requests Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls Collaborate with operations and finance teams to support business objectives What You Need to Succeed: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2–5 years of accounting experience Strong general ledger and month-end close experience Experience in preparing account reconciliations and journal entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams Preferred Experience: Manufacturing industry experience Inventory accounting experience Exposure to financial reporting and variance analysis Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment About Movement Search and Delivery: MOVEMENT is a national executive search firm that connects companies with exceptional talent across engineering, manufacturing, finance, supply chain, information technology, sales, legal, and human resources. #J-18808-Ljbffr Movement Search & Delivery
