Responsibilities
Your Leadership Impact
As Area Director, you will:
-
Supervise Residence Directors and oversee performance management, coaching, and staff development
-
Guide hiring processes and provide leadership-level orientation and onboarding support
-
Oversee daily operations of assigned homes, including staffing, budgets, maintenance, and documentation
-
Ensure development and implementation of high-quality Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
-
Maintain compliance with DDS regulations and lead homes toward two-year certification with distinction
-
Oversee internal audits, regulatory reporting, and electronic record accuracy (reviewed no less than quarterly)
-
Coordinate clinical services, entitlements, and community resources
-
Manage internal on-call systems and respond effectively to emergencies and safety concerns
-
Represent assigned programs at administrative meetings and participate in program evaluation

Promote strong relationships with families, community partners, and regulatory agencies

Safeguard confidential information and uphold organizational policies and procedures

Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:

5–10 years of related human services experience

Demonstrated supervisory experience required
