Job Requirements

• Board Certification in Cardiology required
• Active North Carolina medical license required
• DEA registration required
• ACLS and BLS required
• At least 1 year of cardiology experience required
• Experience using Epic required
• Local candidates only

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiology consults upon request for hospitalized adult patients
• Perform evaluation and management services only; no procedures required
• Read echocardiograms and nuclear studies performed in the hospital
• Deliver care for patients admitted under heart care services
• Serve as 2nd call to support inpatient cardiology coverage
• Maintain a manual log of all charges
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality adult cardiology coverage
