Senior Accounting Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions

My client in Watertown, MA is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to support all M&A accounting activity. This is for a multi-billion-dollar life sciences company which is very active in M&A activity. This role would be primarily remote, but would require getting to Watertown, MA 1x per month, and then 3-4 days during quarter end close. Qualified applicants must have the following Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Minimum 7 years of experience in a large, international, public accounting firm and/or large multinational company required. Expert knowledge in: acquisition accounting under ASC 805, accounting for Impairments of Intangible Assets, Goodwill, and Long-Lived assets under ASC 350 and 360. Experience supporting accounting matters in multinational and public-company environments. Ability to partner with external auditors and support SEC disclosure / external reporting processes.
