Quality Coordinator

Job Description

As a Quality Coordinator, you will maintain and continuously improve the division's Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, NOV quality standards, and customer requirements. You will partner with operations, leadership, and customers to promote a culture of quality, support audits and training, resolve quality concerns, and drive continuous improvement across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, the NOV Tuboscope Quality Manual, and company objectives.
• Promote a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.
• Investigate nonconforming products or services and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute quality system documents, procedures, and revisions.
• Coordinate internal audits, customer audits, supplier audits, and annual management reviews.
• Manage the Quality Action Report (QAR) system and monitor quality performance trends.
• Ensure customer specifications are communicated, implemented, and maintained.
• Coordinate employee quality training, qualification records, and certification documentation.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain supplier quality records.
• Provide quality system updates and performance reports to facility leadership and the Quality & Technical Services (QTS) team.
• Support compliance with NOV Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE), and Quality policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or two years of college coursework in a technical or engineering-related field preferred.
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) or oilfield inspection processes preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and quality auditing principles preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documents, specifications, and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to work a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational schedule, including 12-hour shifts in Arctic weather conditions.
