Quick Facts Location: Minneapolis, MN Start Date: 11/16/2026 End Date: 02/15/2027 Shift: 24-hour in-house call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM), with flexible options for 12-hour shifts Hours per Week: 36-40 hours Employment Type: Temporary/Locum Licenses/Certifications: Valid MN License (or IMLC if no MN license), BLS, Board Certified OB/GYN Experience: High-risk obstetrics experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $5,779.80 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with all laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements What You’ll Do Provide obstetric care for high-risk pregnancies and labor management Assist with deliveries, including c-sections and obstetrical procedures Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists and ICU teams for complex cases, including ECMO patients Co-manage pregnant patients requiring intensive care or specialized intervention Support the hospital’s Maternal Placental Program and high-acuity obstetric patients Cover urgent OB needs and respond to emergencies within the unit Participate in multidisciplinary team efforts to ensure optimal maternal-fetal outcomes What You Need Required: Valid Minnesota license or IMLC BLS certification Board-certified Ob/Gyn Minimum of 2 years high-risk obstetrics experience Preferred: Trauma I or II experience Experience with high-risk pregnancies requiring ECMO or intensive care management About the Assignment This role at a leading Minneapolis facility primarily involves managing high-risk obstetric patients, supporting Maternal-Fetal Medicine services, and providing urgent obstetric care. The facility delivers approximately 11-12 babies daily and features a Level II nursery. Expect to work in a collaborative environment with full support from specialized teams, with a focus on high-risk patient management and emergency response.
