Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days

Requirements
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Active unrestricted Louisiana medical license
Louisiana state controlled substance registration
DEA
ACLS
ATLS
PALS required if not EM trained
One or more years of training with at least a 3-year residency in EM, FM, or IM, or completion of an ACGME/AOA-approved residency program
3rd-year residents accepted

Required Procedures / Skills
Moderate sedation
Deep sedation

Estimated annual ED volume: 6,800
20 hospital beds
6 ED beds
Acuity level 4
EMR: Epic
Moonlighting for EM residents only
Services include physical therapy, rehab unit, and psychiatric unit
