Staff Attorney

Job Description
JCW is partnering with a well-established, highly regarded insurance carrier in New Jersey who is looking to bring on a Staff Attorney to focus in the workers' compensation space. This is an in-house position with a strong support structure and meaningful, varied caseload.
\n \nJob Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Protect policyholder interests in litigated workers' compensation matters through settlement or decision \n
- Handle complex litigation and develop litigation strategies in collaboration with policyholders \n
- Provide case status updates, recommendations, and legal guidance to policyholders and claims staff \n
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers \n
Job Requirements
\n- \n
- Juris Doctor degree and active license to practice law in New Jersey \n
- Workers' compensation experience, including multiple jurisdictions \n
- Strong negotiation, communication, and writing skills \n
