About the Role:

A well-established personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join its growing litigation team in Boca Raton, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least two years of litigation experience who has a strong interest in developing into a skilled trial lawyer.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a genuine commitment to trial advocacy through first or second chair trial experience, participation in Trial Advocacy, Trial Team, or Moot Court during law school, attendance at trial-focused conferences or educational programs, or meaningful experience supporting trial preparation.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse personal injury caseload while gaining substantial courtroom and trial experience under the guidance of experienced litigators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage personal injury cases from initial intake through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies based on the facts and applicable law.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, hearings, and trial.
• Assist with trial preparation, including developing evidence, preparing witnesses, and organizing exhibits.
• Participate in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy, developments, and expectations.
• Work closely with partners, attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage cases.
• Evaluate claims, liability, damages, settlement opportunities, and litigation risks.
• Develop strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Maintain accurate case files and meet all litigation deadlines.
• Take increasing responsibility for cases and develop toward first-chair trial responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Minimum 2 years of litigation experience.
• Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in trial advocacy and a strong desire to try cases.
• First or second chair trial experience is a plus.
• Participation in Trial Advocacy, Trial Team, or Moot Court competitions is a plus.
• Attendance at trial-focused conferences, educational programs, or litigation training is a plus.
• Experience supporting trial preparation is highly valued.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent negotiation and case evaluation abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
• Ability to work collaboratively while independently managing assigned matters.
