Fund Accounting Manager, Alternative Investments

Pay Rate Range: Approximately $105,000 base salary + approximately $10,000 annual incentive opportunity, depending on experience Responsibilities: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, investment managers, and internal teams Manage and delegate work across a team of fund accountants while ensuring client deliverables are accurate and completed on time Review and approve month-end valuations, reconciliations, and accounting reports Work closely with transfer agents, technology teams, vendors, and internal service groups to resolve issues Support day-to-day client inquiries related to transactions, reporting, financial statements, and fund administration Assist with staffing needs, interviewing, and hiring as the team continues to grow Partner with business development and relationship management teams on prospect calls, client meetings, and presentations Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the client experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or fund services Direct experience with alternative investments is required, ideally within private equity and/or hedge funds 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment Competitive base salary of approximately $105,000 Annual incentive opportunity of approximately $10,000 Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company matching Tuition reimbursement Employee referral program Russell Tobin offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k) retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors Russell Tobin is an equal opportunity employer.
