About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the financial operations of the judicial system. The CFO will be responsible for supervising and managing the Court's fiscal staff, directing the preparation of biannual budgets, monitoring and analyzing budget projections, coordinating audits, and managing the procurement and payment processes for all judicial state-level funds. This role requires a professional with a proven record in financial management, a strong knowledge of public budget processes, and a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles. The CFO will also be expected to maintain a system of internal financial controls, ensure compliance with state rules and systems for purchasing and claims processing, and respond to financial data requests in a timely manner. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should possess a high level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to interact with all stakeholders in a respectful and harmonious manner. The role demands excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to remain calm under pressure and manage crisis situations. The CFO will work closely with the Chief Justice, the Chief Administrative Officer, and other judicial branch partners, and must be adept at building consensus and facilitating collaboration. Advanced technology skills, particularly in the Microsoft Suite, and the ability to learn and adapt to new systems, are also essential. The CFO will be expected to provide strategic financial recommendations, monitor the fiscal impact of legislation, and ensure that the Court's financial practices are in line with the highest standards of the judiciary.
