Accounts Receivable Clerk

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for the daily creation of invoices, invoice reconciliation, vendor relations, and paperwork management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Help with Collection efforts on Past Due Accounts by contacting existing vendors and following up on payment status. Post incoming check payments and EFTs Generates and delivers invoices to Maverik customers and vendors, including verification of proper supporting documentation Researching and posting credit card transaction issues Enters charges into customer accounts Maintains accurate filing of invoices and supporting documentation Assists with preparation of vendor payments and postage Assists with received and returned mail Maintain Accounts Receivable service tickets Additional responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: Education Some college-level work, with accounting courses and/or associates degree preferred Qualifications: Experience Knowledge of accounts receivable functions and experience with multiple systems is highly valuable Involvement with collections on past-due account balances is desired Qualifications: Competencies Strong work ethic and high level of integrity Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information Basic problem-solving and analytical skills Proficient in MS Office, including advanced Excel skills Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to assist in establishing effective processes Ability to retain a high level of confidentiality Maverik
