We are TASC!Job Summary: The HR Director serves as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, talent management, organizational development, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, performance management, and employment compliance. The position oversees the day-to-day HR operations and provides leadership, direction, and support to the HR Team while ensuring HR practices are consistently, equitably, and legally administered.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement HR strategies aligned with TASC's mission, workforce needs, and organizational goals.Serve as an advisor to leadership on HR matters, workforce planning, employee relations, and employment-related decisions.Lead complex employee relations matters, including performance concerns, disciplinary actions, workplace conduct, investigations, and documentation.Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, workforce planning, and retention strategies.Partner with leaders to assess staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and identify effective recruitment strategies.Oversee performance management, employee development, leadership development, engagement, and retention initiatives.Partner with the VP of HR on compensation practices, salary structures, market reviews, and benefits strategies.Oversee employee benefits administration and resolution of complex benefits and coverage issues.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and advise leadership regarding employment-law risks.Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, records, reports, and workforce metrics.Oversee HR operations, including HRIS, personnel records, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, and employment documentation.Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to the HR Team and support professional development.Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and organizational information.Promote a respectful, inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace.QualificationsBachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required.Preferred 7 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, compliance, talent management, and HR operations.Experience providing HR guidance to leadership and leading and developing HR staff.Experience developing and administering HR policies, programs, and processes.Strong understanding of compensation, benefits, performance management, recruitment, employee relations, and organizational development.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong strategic thinking, business acumen, and decision-making skills.Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and risk management.Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project-management skills.Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive matters with discretion.Proficiency with HRIS, Microsoft Office, and other HR-related technology.Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, sound judgment, accountability, and commitment to a culture of respect, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Ability to represent TASC in a positive and professional manner.Benefits Package:Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance and Flexible Spending.Paid Leave - STD/LTD.Paid Time Off/Sick Time/Floating Holiday.Tuition Reimbursement.403 B (retirement plan).TASC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free workplace.
