About the Role  

You don't need recruiting experience. We're looking for someone who communicates well, stays organized, and wants to build a career in this field. You'll work directly with experienced recruiters and learn the full recruiting lifecycle: sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, client submittals, and offer support. Veteran Preference. Remote — BOAB team members are based in Indianapolis, IN; Houston, TX; Austin, TX; and the DC metro area. We're hiring in one of these areas so you can work in person with a teammate near you.

 

Learn and provide support / coordination with

• Sourcing candidates using LinkedIn, ClearanceJobs, job boards, and our internal database, and conducting initial outreach by email, LinkedIn, and text.
• Reviewing resumes against position qualifications and flag qualified candidates for recruiters.
• Running brief screening and availability calls with candidates to confirm interest, qualifications, and timing.
• Helping build candidate pipelines for current and upcoming needs, including research on talent markets and competitors.
• Scheduling interviews and prep sessions; keep candidates informed on status and next steps.
• Formatting resumes and prepare candidate submission packages using BOAB, client, and government-contractor templates.
• Assisting candidates with applications, vetting questions, clearance verification forms, and skills matrices.
• Maintaining accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system and post and update job openings.
• Protecting confidential candidate, client, compensation, and security-clearance information.
• Tracking, update, and report metrics.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship (required to support cleared and government-contractor work).
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
• Customer-facing, sales, hospitality, or military experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in project coordination or administrative coordination.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and conversations at once.
• Comfort with rejection and shifting priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Discretion in handling sensitive candidate and clearance information.
• Interest in the national security and defense industry.
