Role Overview

Help improve next-generation AI systems by producing accurate, culturally informed Canadian French language data. You will review and refine machine-generated transcripts, add detailed annotations, and share language expertise that improves how speech and text models learn and perform.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, transcribe, and correct machine-generated Canadian French transcripts for accuracy and linguistic integrity.
• Add and refine metadata tags and annotations for speech and text files to improve organization and searchability.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies and errors in automated transcriptions.
• Share feedback on language nuances, cultural context, and transcription best practices with the customer team.
• Maintain detailed documentation of changes and annotations in line with project standards.
• Provide constructive written and verbal feedback to support workflow improvements and AI model performance.
• Follow strict confidentiality and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Fluent Canadian French, including strong grammar, spelling, and regional vocabulary.
• Demonstrated transcription and editing experience, particularly correcting machine-generated content.
• Experience applying metadata tags and detailed annotations to audio or text files.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and quality-control practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, feedback-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with transcription tools, software, or platforms is highly advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber.
• Experience working with Canadian French language data.
• Familiarity with AI training workflows or language-data pipelines.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $15 to $25 per hour.
