Private Equity Associate

A New York-headquartered private equity firm specializing in credit and special situations secondaries is seeking to add a Junior team member to its deal team immediately. The firm has a strong track record in acquiring and managing secondary interests in credit-focused private funds, offering junior professionals meaningful responsibility and broad exposure across sourcing, underwriting, and portfolio management within a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. The Role As part of the deal team, you will play a key role in evaluating and executing investments, working closely with senior team members across diligence and execution. Ideal Candidate Profile 2-4 years of full‑time professional work experience: Must currently be in a buy‑side investing role, either direct investing or secondaries investing Preference for 1-2 years of M&A Investment Banking experience prior Strong analytical and financial modeling skills Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment, with a strong emphasis on contributing to and maintaining a positive company culture.
