People Operations Specialist - Phoenix Office
Super Radiator Coils
Description Location This position will be primarily based out of or near our Phoenix facility located at 2610 South 21st Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034. Though pending business needs could slide to other AZ sites.
Shift Schedule (Current as of posting, but is subject to change pending business needs) Full-time, On-site; Monday-Friday 07:30AM - 04:30PM; 8.00 hour shifts. Though very minimal, there will be times when slight schedule adjustments are needed for business support.
Position Description
The People Operations Specialist is a dynamic role that blends many areas of Human Resources including recruitment, onboarding, team engagement, benefits, compliance/recordkeeping, and more. This individual will be a neutral point of contact between team members and the company, working to investigate and resolve concerns/issues in a positive manner. They will have an important role in maintaining several aspects of our human resource functions to achieve and maintain excellence at an industry leading level. The specialist will oversee and maintain a section of regulation record keeping, recruitment, onboarding, team member relations, and represent a strong positive reflection of our company's core values. Arizona's team has several physical sites currently located in both Phoenix and Mesa. Though specialists work from a primary site, there are routine times where support is shifted to best maintain relationship building and cross site support. This role reports directly to the People Operations Supervisor for our Arizona division.
Essential Responsibilities (Overall)

* Maintain full confidentiality of all records and information that may impact people and business.
* Represent both team members and the company in the event of an issue or complaint.
o Each case must be clear of pre-conceived bias until full information has been reviewed.
* Maintain accurate human resource record keeping and tracking, both physical and digital forms.
* Assist with recruitment for all Hourly and some Salary positions utilizing our career portal.
* Assist new team members through the onboarding process and build their records including first day paperwork, benefits enrollment, 401k enrollment, etc.
* Maintain an "open door" point of contact approach where team members feel comfortable to address potential concerns or complaints.
* Work with all leadership to ensure we remain proactive on any concerns or complaints raised.
* Work with payroll team to ensure timecard accuracy and timely payroll processing.
* Assist with team engagement functions including event planning and individual recognition.
* Assist with compliance related projects.
* Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications Required
* 1-3 years prior experience in human resource role.
* High school diploma/equivalent or higher.
* Must pass medical pre-screen with physical and background check.
* Must be authorized to work in the United States.
* Demonstrate moderate to full fluency in both English and Spanish.
* Highly knowledgeable of Form I-9 completion and recordkeeping.
* Comfortable in a fast paced and adaptive/evolving environment.
* Stable and reliable attendance
o A pattern of Late Ins, Early Outs, Unexcused Call Outs, etc. is not acceptable.
* Strong positive work ethic
o Have a good history of safe work practices, focus on quality, and steady efficiency.
o Personal errors in your specific department can happen, what is important is if you were able to learn from an error and move forward in a positive manner.
* Conversational Awareness
o This role requires the capability to fully diffuse a negative or tense situation. Must have strength in not adding to negatively fueled disagreements in front of the team. Must be able to have self-awareness of when to step away from a negative situation and ask for assistance from the direct supervisor and/or other leadership. Preferred
* Experience working in an industrial manufacturing setting.
* Experience working in a mid-sized company where gap-filling is routine.
