Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Washington OT license required
• Must have current fingerprint clearance through OSPI
• Previous experience working in a school environment is highly desirable
• Strong skills in planning and implementing interventions for secondary-aged students
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Prior supervisory experience or readiness to mentor a COTA
• Flexible, professional, and committed to inclusive educational practices

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services onsite to a diverse secondary student caseload
• Assess, design, and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Supervise and guide a COTA, ensuring high-quality support services
• Collaborate with educators, administration, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state, district, and federal regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Serve as a resource and advocate for best practices in OT within the educational environment
