Crown Linen is Hiring Production Associates- Brockton, MA POSITION SUMMARYWith direction from the Production Manager & Floor Supervisors, responsibilities include sorting and assembly of clean garments in a Commercial Laundry environment, packing of orders and quality control, counting and inventory control and other areas of production as needed. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSorting, inspecting & counting of garmentsOperating machinery following established procedures and policiesPerforming daily inspections before beginning operationsFollowing all safety policies and proceduresMainting company quality standardsAttends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, MACHINES, AND WORK AIDSLaundry baskets, and linen binsCarts and conveyorsOverhead rail system and garment sorting systemAutomated soil sort system and automated polybag machines REQUIRED SKILLSGood communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers and staffHighly dependableBasic computer skillsStrong attention to detail and interest in accuracyEnglish competency PHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be capable of lifting 10-30 lbs frequentlyMust be able to stand most of the dayMust be able to stoop, turn, bend, reach, push, kneel and pull Apply Today for Consideration It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
