Hiring a Healthcare Call Center Rep in San Diego, CA!!

Must have:

• at least 1 year of call center
• highly pref healthcare call center
• Experience handling 60-80 calls/day

Description

Handle high-volume inbound calls regarding health plan enrollment and benefits.

Educate members on available medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefit options.

Assist with plan selection, enrollment changes, and qualifying life event requests.

Verify member eligibility and enrollment status.

Explain premiums, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket costs.

Troubleshoot enrollment issues and escalate complex cases as needed.

Accurately document all customer interactions in CRM and enrollment systems.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Meet quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics during peak enrollment periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

• Call Center Experience – Required

o Min of 6-month recent call center experience

o More experience in health call centers - the better

o Looking for candidates who have long term assignments, not short stints.

• Knowledge of current matters relating to health maintenance organizations, performance management, and customer satisfaction assessment and delivery.

• Basic computer and writing skills

• Have worked in an environment that requires them to meet KPI’s

o Sharp has strict KPI’s the workers must meet to stay in compliance with their position

• Understanding HIPPA compliance, Medicare, service recovery, fast-paced environment, experience with handling grievance cases

• Experience in taking between 60-80 calls a day

• Epic Experience preferred

• Investigatory skills – researching and looking into inquiries

• TalkDesk – preferred

Start date:

September 11th – 13 spots

Assignment Length:

• 13 weeks but would want them to be available through Jan/Feb> possibly hire (6months-1year)

Training Schedule:

• Phase 1 of training: 6 weeks and on site (Spectrum)

• Phase 2 of training: 1-2 weeks; on site (Tech Way) - they will be on the phone

• Needs to be able to come to Spectrum for training (830-5pm) DAILY

• Training will be held at (8695 Spectrum Center BLVD San Diego)

Work Schedule:

• M-F 8a-6pm

• 1130-8pm and possible weekends

• Candidates need to be flexible to work all schedules to help with business need

• Work on-site at: 8520 Tech Way San Diego

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
