Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid, active Ohio teaching certificate/license: Education of the Handicapped K-12 or Intervention Specialist K-12 (Moderate/Intensive or Mild/Moderate).
• Experience working with children who have multiple disabilities.
• Familiarity with various educational models, including resource room, small group, and inclusive environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate within diverse educational teams.
• Proficiency in accessing and writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies for kindergarten students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction, small group tutoring, and in-class support.
• Write, update, and track student progress on IEPs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and staff meetings.
• Foster an inclusive, caring, and positive learning atmosphere.
