• Shift: Monday Friday, 9-hour shifts (8 hours billable) + 15-hour overnight call, 24-hour weekend call
• Hours/week: Full-time
• Employment Type: Contract / Locum
• License/Certs: Michigan state medical license, BC in Gastroenterology, ERCP experience preferred
• Experience: Prior GI and ERCP procedures required

What You ll Do:

• Provide outpatient Gastroenterology services including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, PEG tube placements, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, capsule endoscopy, and hydrogen breath testing
• Manage approximately 12 patients per day in a busy, well-equipped setting with 4 procedure rooms/endoscopy suites
• Review pathology, communicate follow-up and test results with nursing staff, and document thoroughly
• Perform procedures independently, with responsibility for charting and work completion without additional assistance
• Collaborate with a highly experienced endo team in a professional hospital environment

What You Need:

• Michigan medical license and board certification in Internal Medicine or Gastroenterology
• ERCP and advanced GI procedures experience required
• Ability to work full block coverage scheduled dates
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Preferred: experience with Olympus endoscopy systems, Cerner, and Athena EMRs
