Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide virtual psychotherapy sessions to clients experiencing a range of emotional and psychological challenges related to end-of-life issues.
\n
• Conduct thorough assessments to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy, to address issues such as grief, loss, and life transitions.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.
\n
• Maintain a strong rapport with clients and their families, guiding them through emotional difficulties and advocating for their needs during the hospice process.

• Document all client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and supervision to stay current with best practices in social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve adult clients aged 18 and older who are facing end-of-life issues, their families, and caregivers. Your work will directly affect their emotional well-being, helping them to navigate complex feelings associated with grief, loss, and acceptance. Supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including minority and LGBTQIA+ populations, is an essential aspect of this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active LCSW license valid in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of three years of clinical counseling experience, preferably in a hospice or similar healthcare setting.

• Proven experience providing psychotherapy to adults, with a focus on evidence-based practices.

• Possess professional malpractice insurance.

Compensation and Benefits\n
