Maintenance Worker

Job Description Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a Maintenance Worker / Building Maintenance Technician in Coppell, TX to support daily facility operations and maintenance. In this hands-on role, you will perform general building maintenance, coordinate contractors, and assist with small facility improvement projects while helping keep the site safe, functional, and operating efficiently. Daily work includes troubleshooting and repairing lighting, plumbing, electrical, flooring, wall systems, and basic HVAC equipment. This position is ideal for candidates with maintenance technician, facilities maintenance, building engineer, or handyman experience who enjoy solving problems and working independently. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with participation in an on-call rotation, overtime opportunities, and occasional weekend work. Successful candidates are dependable, safety-focused, and able to respond to facility needs in a fast-paced industrial environment. Compensation: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour Job Responsibilities Perform routine building maintenance and repairs across facility systems Troubleshoot and repair lighting, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, walls, doors, flooring, and other building infrastructure Conduct basic HVAC maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting Complete preventive maintenance activities and scheduled facility inspections Respond to maintenance work orders and prioritize repairs to reduce downtime Coordinate and oversee contractors performing maintenance, repair, or construction work Assist with small facility improvement and capital projects Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively Document completed work, inspection findings, and maintenance activities Identify potential equipment or building issues and recommend corrective actions Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas Follow all Aramark and client safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Support facility operations during on-call rotations, overtime assignments, and occasional weekend coverage as needed Qualifications Required 3+ years of hands-on building maintenance, facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or related experience Working knowledge of lighting, plumbing, electrical, wall, and flooring repairs Experience performing basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to diagnose and resolve common building and equipment issues independently Experience working with contractors, vendors, or service providers Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures Strong reliability, attendance, and time-management skills Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, participate in an on-call rotation, work overtime, and occasionally work weekends Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods Must successfully pass a background check, including Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review Preferred Technical training in facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or a related trade Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, or campus facilities Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) OSHA or other safety-related training/certifications About Aramark Our Mission Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
