• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance on lab equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for subsequent testing as necessary.
• Be responsible for documenting all procedures meticulously, mentoring new staff and students, while upholding high laboratory standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment is required.
• Maintain your certification throughout your employment with us.
