As a Senior Tax Manager, you'll advise real estate clients on compliance and planning, build lasting client relationships, and guide a team of tax professionals. The role is based in Miami, Florida, with an annual salary range of $175,000 to $200,000.Responsibilities:Manage and review complex individual, partnership, corporation, S corporation, trust, and other business tax returns for real estate clients.Help real estate clients navigate complex tax decisions through thoughtful planning, consulting, and compliance support.Research and resolve complex federal, state, and local tax issues, and communicate technical guidance to clients and internal teams.Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationships, delivering proactive advisory services and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.Coordinate and manage engagement planning, budgeting, scheduling, and project execution to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.Communicate with federal and state taxing authorities regarding audits, notices, and tax-related inquiries.Coach and develop tax professionals, sharing your technical expertise and helping them grow.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support complex client engagements and provide integrated tax solutions.Identify business development opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships, and support growth initiatives within the tax practice.Maintain current knowledge of evolving tax legislation, regulatory changes, and real estate industry trends.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.8+ years of recent public accounting experience, including substantial real estate tax compliance and consulting work.Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws affecting real estate entities and investors.Experience reviewing complex tax returns for individuals and business entities.Proven expertise in tax research, tax planning, and resolving complex tax matters.Demonstrated experience managing multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines and quality standards.Strong leadership, project management, and staff development skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.Proficiency with tax software, Microsoft Office applications, and paperless accounting environments.
