Export Coordinator

JohnDoe & Associates is seeking an experienced Export Coordinator on behalf of a well‑established international freight forwarder based at JFK Airport . This role focuses on managing and coordinating all aspects of international air export shipments to ensure smooth, timely, and compliant operations. Key Responsibilities Manage the full export process from booking through to delivery. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, airlines, and customs brokers. Prepare and process export documentation accurately and in compliance with international shipping regulations. Coordinate shipments to ensure timely movement and adherence to U.S. and foreign customs requirements. Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive communication to customers. Obtain and manage rate quotations, liaising with carriers to ensure optimal routing and cost efficiency. Maintain organized records, documentation, and correspondence related to export activities. Collaborate with internal departments to support seamless operational flow. Requirements Proficiency in CargoWise is essential – candidates must have hands‑on experience with the system. Experience with Letters of credit and Hazardous materials is a plus. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in export operations, ideally within freight forwarding or logistics.
