PCG offers clients a multidisciplinary approach to meet challenges, pursue opportunities, and serve constituents across the public sector.Duties and ResponsibilitiesGathers and analyzes financial information on expenses and revenues.Designs and enhances data visualizations for reportingDevelops simple analysis of economic indicators in order to prepare forecasts and analyses supporting the needs of financial planning.Develops financial prompts or queries used for analysis of accounting and business wide issues.Assists with the design and production of monthly reports.Supports business unit employees through analysis of financial data.Ensures company compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and assist with interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards.Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures and recommend accounting process improvements.Special projects as assigned.Required SkillsExcellent organizational, oral presentation and written communication skills.Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data.Ability to work both in a team situation and autonomously.Proficiency in Microsoft applications, in particular Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilotKnowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, or other data visualization tools preferredHighly Effective Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activity streams.Ability to work effectively with, and communicate with all levels of management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred1+ years' experience of financial analysis or relevant academic experienceWorking ConditionsHybrid (1-2 days/week in Office)The above is intended to describe the general contents and requirements of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role.
