People Customers Trust This job posting is for a Clamp Truck Operator on 3rd shift at our Chicago Container plant located at 5445 W 73rd St. Bedford Park, IL 60638. Responsibilities Ensure that the product is moved from the truck to the staging area in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain and perform daily safety inspections of the clamp truck and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform lockout/tag out procedures on trailers. Maintain good housekeeping and manufacturing practices at all times. Pick and stage orders and load and unload trucks, while maintaining inventory integrity through proper handling and storage. Basic Qualifications High School Graduate or GED. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Certified industrial driver or ability to get certified in a timely manner. Ability to safely operate a propane powered forklift. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a packaging environment. Compensation And Benefits Starting salary for position: $29.53 per hour. Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics. Paid Vacation: 1 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year. Paid Holidays.
