CT Technologist

Role Overview This position involves performing computerized tomographic (CT) radiographs in accordance with established procedures, reviewing exams for clinical appropriateness, and ensuring timely and accurate imaging. The role includes patient education, advocating for patient concerns, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize exam flow and patient outcomes. Responsibilities also encompass maintaining credentials, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication. Qualifications & Skills Candidates must hold ARRT certification, a NM CT license or provisional license, and current BLS certification. Strong clinical reasoning, critical thinking, safety awareness, and teamwork skills are essential. The ability to educate patients, manage resources effectively, and stay current with protocols is required.
