Job Duties and Responsibilities

Seeking a dependable, alert, and proactive Unarmed Security Guard to oversee property operations during night shift hours. The primary focus involves maintaining a safe and secure environment through regular patrols, facility monitoring, and perimeter checks. Because this role includes an independent weekend shift, success requires excellent judgment, high self-motivation, and the ability to stay strictly vigilant during quiet hours.

The schedule for this position is 1st shift (0700 to 1500) Friday-Tuesday (Wed/Thurs off) with the opportunity for overtime. (Subject to change based on facility needs)

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

• Perform routine interior and exterior property checks to ensure all doors, gates, and windows are locked; maintain active perimeter security
• Keep a watchful eye on live security footage, alarm systems, and access points while addressing potential breaches
• Verify credentials of all visitors, vendors, and incoming shipping vehicles to maintain strict property access control
• Document daily activity reports (DARs) and record structural or safety hazards using a digital tracking system
• Draft detailed, factual narratives regarding property damage, unauthorized entry, or system malfunctions; act as the primary contact for emergency services
• Leverage AI-enhanced monitoring software and intelligent analytics to flag anomalies and streamline incident reporting efficiency

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):

• Strong skills in physical security surveillance, perimeter checks, and access control management
• Ability to de-escalate high-stress situations or rule infractions calmly using a professional, non-contact approach
• Critical experience performing continuous physical activity including standing, walking, and climbing stairs for 8-to-12 hour shifts
• AI literacy and application in modern facility management tools, mobile reporting platforms, and digital security systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed for drafting comprehensive incident narratives and daily activity logs
• High degree of self-motivation, sound decision-making, and independent problem-solving during solo night shifts

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum Experience: 1 year of guard experience
• Required Technical Skills: Must have experience with:
• Access badge systems
• CCTV operations
• Fence Disturbance Sensors

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $15.90/Hour - $22.74/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
