Quality Engineer I

Quality Engineer IKey Responsibilities:Develop quality procedures, specifications, and standards.Support CAPA/corrective and preventive actions.Collect and analyze gauge and product evaluation data.Support new product quality requirements, including gauges, materials, and inspection methods.Work with suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met.Perform product testing, inspection, and audits.Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, suppliers, and other functions.Must-Have Skills:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.Basic quality engineering knowledge.Blueprint reading & GD&T.FMEA and product testing.Basic knowledge of FDA QSR / ISO regulations and Design Assurance.Experience with CMM and Optical Comparator.Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and ability to meet deadlines.Preferred:CQE certification.Medical device experience, especially orthopedic products.Supplier quality experience.Up to 20% travel.
