This position is onsite, allowing our therapists to interact closely with clients in the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' goals, needs, and functional deficits.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific orthopedic issues.
• Administer treatment sessions for 2-3 patients per hour, focusing on individualized attention and care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance patients' movement, function, and overall well-being.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment progression to ensure they remain engaged and committed to their recovery.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment programs, and progress notes accurately in our EMR system.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their responses.
• Promote wellness initiatives, supporting clients to adopt healthier lifestyles.
• Collaborate with other healthcare specialists to integrate comprehensive treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists primarily assist orthopedic patients, including post-surgical rehabilitation clients, individuals suffering from chronic pain, and those recovering from injuries. By adopting a patient-centric approach, the therapist will help improve their strength, flexibility, and overall functional abilities, ensuring that recovery is both effective and efficient.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, with preference for candidates with a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist License is required, with no disciplinary actions recorded.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or ability to obtain one prior to employment is essential.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in therapeutic exercises are required.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is necessary for efficient documentation.

Preferred Experience

We highly value previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Experience in home care is an advantage, as is familiarity with treatment modalities aimed at pain management and mobility enhancement. Successful candidates will exhibit a strong aptitude for patient interaction and an enthusiastic approach towards rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

Horizon Flex Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
