Position Overview

Lakeland Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Deltona, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing customized treatment programs for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. You will engage closely with both patients and their families to promote healing, mobility, and overall wellness, while enhancing their quality of life through evidence-based practices.

Work Environment

This position is located onsite in our Deltona rehabilitation facility. Here, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team consisting of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for all patients. Our clinical space is designed to provide a welcoming and motivational atmosphere, equipped with cutting-edge therapeutic tools and technology that enhance recovery efforts. We operate Monday through Friday, allowing you to enjoy a work-life balance while committing full-time, approximately 40 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, using industry-standard assessment techniques and tools.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with physicians’ recommendations, ensuring each patient receives tailored strategies to meet their specific recovery needs.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities designed to reduce pain, improve function, and enhance mobility.
• Document treatment progress meticulously in our electronic health record system, maintaining an accurate and comprehensive understanding of each patient’s journey.
• Provide education to patients and their caregivers about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-management strategies to foster independence and empowerment.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress, innovate care strategies, and improve service delivery.
• Actively engage in community outreach programs that promote health and wellness, reflecting our commitment to the communities we serve.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Lakeland Care Solutions, you will work with a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine clients. This variety provides an enriching environment to expand your skills and expertise. Our focus is on establishing meaningful patient relationships and understanding their unique challenges to ensure effective treatment and enhanced recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with proficiency in managing electronic health records and word processing software.
• A commitment to building strong relationships with patients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred, although not required.
• Two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Current CPR certification adds to your competitive edge in this application.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, coupled with performance-based incentives.
