• Experience: Previous sterile processing in a trauma or high-volume hospital setting preferred

What You'll Do:

• Decontaminate surgical instruments, including drills, scopes, and Da Vinci equipment
• Assemble instruments for various surgical service lines
• Perform sterilization processes such as sterilizer and steam
• Handle HLD and scope processing
• Manage sterile storage areas
• Collaborate with OR staff and serve as a liaison when needed
• Track instruments using Censitrac or similar systems
• Assist in floating between OSU locations as required

What You Need: Required:

• Valid CRCST or CSPDT certification
• Previous experience in sterile processing, ideally in trauma or high-volume environments
• Ability to handle decontamination, sterilization, and instrument assembly tasks
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• CORE TECH experience
• Customer service skills
• OR liaison experience

About the Assignment: This role is based at one of Ohio State University's busiest trauma centers, where your expertise will help ensure the safety and efficiency of surgical procedures. The position involves sterilizing a wide variety of surgical instruments and supporting OR staff in a fast-paced environment. Floating responsibilities between multiple facility locations may be required.
