Position Details & Benefits Employment: Part-Time or Full-Time Location: Monroe, Ohio Schedule: Flexible scheduling based on hotel needs Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications Opportunity for professional growth within Crestpoint Companies Supportive, team-oriented work environment Hands-on role with a variety of daily responsibilities What You'll Do As our Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you'll play an important role in keeping our property operating efficiently and ensuring a positive guest experience. Key responsibilities include: Perform routine preventive maintenance throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. Troubleshoot and complete minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs. Inspect and maintain hotel equipment, lighting, fixtures, doors, locks, and furniture. Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff. Maintain the property's appearance, including exterior areas, landscaping coordination, and general upkeep. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues before they become larger problems. Assist with pool maintenance and required inspections, if applicable. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules. Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are needed. Follow Hilton brand standards, safety procedures, and company policies. Support the General Manager and hotel team in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained property. What We're Looking For Previous experience in hotel maintenance, apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field preferred. General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building repairs. Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs independently. Basic understanding of preventive maintenance procedures. Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship. Dependable, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks. Positive attitude and willingness to assist other team members when needed. Ability to safely lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance duties. Availability to work occasional weekends or respond to urgent maintenance needs as scheduled. Experience with Hilton hotels or similar hospitality properties is a plus, but not required. Trade certifications or specialized technical training are a plus, but not required.
