The Human-Computer Interaction Institute (HCII) is a living laboratory where we investigate the relationship between computer technology, human activity, and society. Research Assistant

to assist in the development and execution of research projects including experiment design, analysis of data collected and writing up experiment results. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. Core Responsibilities Uses a variety of software packages to input, manipulate, collect and record results or observations. Performs research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures. Researches and documents information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records. Summarizes statistical information for analysis, examination or presentation; writes technical reports. May build and validate quantitative models. Identifies problems and obstacles to progress; develops strategies to solve problems. May program software in support of job functions. Attends project meetings. Performs related duties as assigned.
