We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who is a leader first —someone who enjoys developing people, takes ownership of results, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This is more than a shift-management position. Our Managers are responsible for helping lead the restaurant, executing operational systems, developing future leaders, and holding themselves and others accountable to high standards.

What You'll Do

Lead the Restaurant

• Provide leadership and operational oversight during assigned shifts.
• Execute Chick-fil-A systems and standards consistently.
• Set clear expectations for Team Members and Team Leaders and hold them accountable.
• Monitor restaurant performance, speed of service, food quality, cleanliness, hospitality, and overall operational excellence.
• Identify problems quickly and take initiative to solve them.
• Make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, positive presence.
• Open and/or close the restaurant and serve as a key holder.
• Complete cash handling, drawer counts, closing procedures, and other administrative responsibilities accurately.
• Help ensure the restaurant is prepared for each daypart and positioned for success.

Lead and Develop People

• Create an environment where Team Members feel valued, supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow.
• Coach Team Members and Team Leaders through both positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.
• Help identify high-potential Team Members and develop them toward Trainer, Team Leader, and Manager roles.
• Train and coach future Trainers and Team Leaders.
• Set the tone for each shift through your attitude, work ethic, professionalism, and sense of urgency.
• Address performance and behavioral issues directly, respectfully, and consistently.
• Lead by example and model Chick-fil-A's values in every interaction.
• Build strong working relationships across the team and contribute to a culture of shared ownership.

Serve Our Guests

• Create genuine connections with Guests and provide exceptional hospitality.
• Respond quickly and respectfully to Guest needs and concerns.
• Look for opportunities to exceed Guest expectations.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming, and professional presence throughout the restaurant.
• Model the hospitality standards expected from every member of the team.

Qualifications

Prior leadership experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong leadership potential.

Relevant experience may include:

• Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager
• Shift Lead or Team Lead
• Retail Store Manager or Assistant Manager
• Grocery leadership
• Hotel or hospitality management
• Military leadership
• Operations or warehouse supervision
• Customer-service leadership
• Other high-volume, people-focused leadership roles

Chick-fil-A experience is a plus, but not required.

The most important qualification is your ability and desire to lead people, solve problems, take ownership, and develop others.

• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters professionally.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of working in a restaurant environment.
