Job Summary
We are seeking an Engineering Assistant to support engineering and manufacturing activities in a CNC machining environment. This position is a great opportunity for a CNC Programmer or manufacturing professional with CAD experience who wants to apply their technical skills in an engineering-focused role.
Responsibilities
- Support engineering and manufacturing projects from development through production.
- Assist with CNC programming and program development .
- Create, modify, and review CAD designs and manufacturing files.
- Support CNC machining processes and provide programming assistance as needed.
- Work with Engineering, Production, Quality, and other departments to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Assist with developing and improving machining processes.
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Support the development and documentation of manufacturing processes.
- Assist with troubleshooting CNC and machining-related issues.
- Maintain accurate engineering and production documentation.
- Perform other engineering and manufacturing support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, CNC Technology, or a related field.
- Previous CNC programming experience required .
- CAD experience required .
- Experience with SolidWorks or NC programming required .
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work effectively with Engineering and Production teams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
