Grand Pacific Financing Corporation is currently growing its footprint in Texas and is hiring a Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer to help support expansion in the Dallas area. The primary focus of this role is to originate new lending opportunities and build strong, lasting relationships with brokers, investors, and borrowers.

You will be responsible for analyzing potential transactions, reviewing borrower financial information, and developing financing structures that meet internal lending criteria. This role requires close coordination with internal departments to move deals through the approval process while ensuring proper evaluation and risk assessment.

We are seeking a candidate with strong familiarity in the Texas commercial real estate markets, including Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. Experience in underwriting, credit evaluation, and financial analysis is critical for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Originate floating-rate commercial real estate loans
• Build and maintain strong relationships with loan brokers
• Review and analyze financial information from loan applicants
• Conduct site visits and evaluate properties and locations
• Meet and communicate with loan applicants and assess their financial needs
• Determine appropriate pricing and loan structures
• Coordinate with all parties to facilitate loan closing
• Maintain interpersonal connections with loan applicants

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal client relations skills
• Minimum (2) years of commercial lending experience required
• Experience in handling construction loans is a plus
• Demonstrated team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness effectively
• Solid accounting and credit analysis background required
• Must be highly familiar with the real estate markets in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio
