Registered Nurse (RN) - Short Stay

Registered Nurse – Pre/Post Operative Care

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 48.00

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor
• Minimum 6 months experience in medical surgical nursing in the last 2 years (preferred)
• Minimum of one year experience in pre and post operative diagnostic cath lab (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide pre and post operative care for patients across all age groups.
• Perform patient assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Monitor patients for signs of distress and manage care accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.

Compliance / Notes:

Must have current Epic experience.
