Role Description The Sr HR Business Partner is a full‑time role based in Lawrenceville/Buford GA or Charlotte, NC. A 4‑day in‑office, 1 home‑office day week allows a mix of onsite and work‑from‑home flexibility. This role serves as a strategic people and culture‑champion advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organizational goals and supporting a high‑performance, safety‑focused culture. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include consulting with managers on workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, with HR operations support for employees. The Sr HR Business Partner will facilitate and support HR initiatives such as talent development, succession planning, and change management, while ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies. The role also involves analyzing HR metrics, recommending data‑driven actions, and collaborating with the VP of HR, and HR colleagues on recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, and engagement programs. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of strong HR business partnership experience, including advising leaders on organizational effectiveness, performance management, and employee relations. Demonstrated skill and experience in change management, talent development, and succession planning within a growing or multi‑state company of at least 150 employees. Working knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR policies, with the ability to apply them in practical, solutions‑focused ways. Proficiency in using HRIS tools and HR analytics to interpret data, generate insights, and support decision‑making. Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, drive projects to completion, and operate effectively in a fast‑paced construction or industrial setting. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP, PHR or similar HR certification is highly preferred. Previous experience supporting field‑based, trade, or hourly industrial and professional team members is a must.
