Job Description

Career Consulting Partners is recruiting on behalf of a collaborative Los Angeles business and real estate litigation boutique that truly prioritizes work-life balance. We are seeking an experienced Mid-to-Senior Business or Civil Litigator to handle high-level, complex cases with a manageable 1,000–1,200 annual billable requirement. Candidates targeting the top end of the salary range must possess total autonomy to independently manage real estate litigation end-to-end, including deep mastery of real estate-specific rules and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• You will manage a diverse litigation file with minimal supervision, covering partnership disputes, construction, HOA, buyer/seller disputes, and land use.

• From drafting and arguing motions to taking depositions and heading to trial, you’ll handle the full lifecycle of a case.

Requirements:

\n

\n

\n
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
\n
• 5+ years of California litigation experience.
\n
• A decent amount of autonomy so you can function within civil litigation
\n
• Proven ability to handle discovery, mediations, and trial prep.
\n
• Comfortable using AI ethically and responsibly to enhance your practice.
\n

Compensation & Benefits

• Income Range: $125,000 - $175,000 (Commensurate with experience)
\n
• 1,000 - 1,200 billable hours annually (roughly 100 hours a month)
\n
• We are open to fewer hours for the right candidate, and there is always an option to work more for additional compensation.
\n

• Fully Remote - Must reside in Southern California for occasional in-person appearances.
