Position Summary We are seeking experienced and dedicated tutors to work with students in grades K–8 across a variety of subjects. Ideal candidates are passionate about education, reliable, and able to tailor their teaching approach to each student’s individual learning style and needs. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one academic support in subjects such as Math, English/Language Arts, Reading, and Study Skills for grades K-8 Customize lessons to align with each student’s goals, school curriculum, and learning preferences Maintain regular communication with families and the Tutor Doctor team regarding student progress Submit session notes and reports in a timely manner Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher (Education or related field preferred) Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience Strong subject matter knowledge in K–8 academic areas Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and ability to travel to students’ homes (some virtual sessions may also be available) Why Join Tutor Doctor North Jersey?
