The role provides exceptional exposure to cutting-edge financial issues while working alongside a highly regarded, nationally integrated team.Candidate ProfileJD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in Texas, in good standing3–5 years of substantive litigation experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or similarly sophisticated law firm preferredExperience with financial services or restructuring-related litigationDemonstrated ability to manage all phases of complex litigation, including drafting legal documents, conducting discovery and depositions, preparing for trial, and participating in motions practiceStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, filings, client communications, and multiple competing prioritiesExceptional legal writing and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detailStrong communication and advocacy abilities, both written and oralProven capacity to work collaboratively across offices and disciplines in a fast-paced environmentKey ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in financial, commercial, and restructuring-related litigation in federal and state courts and arbitration forumsManage complex litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through trial and post-trial proceedingsDevelop and execute case strategies, including discovery planning and implementationDraft, argue, and respond to motions, briefs, memoranda, and other substantive court filingsTake and defend fact and expert witness depositionsConduct sophisticated legal research and draft complex motions, briefs, and memorandaAttend court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, client meetings, and trial proceedingsCollaborate closely with partners and clients to develop and execute case strategyProvide clients with timely, practical, and strategic advice on litigation and risk managementContribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture focused on excellence and innovationWhy Join Us?This is an extraordinary opportunity to join one of the nation's premier Finance & Restructuring practices, consistently recognized for excellence in complex financial litigation.
