Flex Well Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Kearny, New Jersey. Work Environment

You will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, featuring advanced technology and equipment specifically designed for physical therapy treatment. Our center is characterized by a collaborative atmosphere that values teamwork and effective communication. Here, you will engage with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and therapy aides, to ensure cohesive patient care. Your schedule will typically include shifts from 3 PM to 7 PM, Monday through Thursday, and a 4-hour shift on Fridays, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses to formulate individualized treatment plans for patients with injuries, diseases, or disabilities.
• Utilize a variety of physical therapy modalities and procedures based on best practices, adapting treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, empowering them to understand treatment processes and at-home rehabilitation techniques.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment protocols, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families to collaboratively establish and achieve patient-centric goals.
• Ensure quality assurance by adhering to established productivity standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement processes to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
• Mentor and supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and students in delivering high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass treating a wide range of patients, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This diversity requires an understanding of developmental and age-related health challenges, allowing you to tailor your approach to meet the physical therapy needs of each group effectively. You will work with individuals recovering from surgeries, chronic conditions, sports injuries, and neurological disorders.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher (Master's or DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting relevant to physical therapy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Physical capability to perform movement-related tasks, including lifting, standing, walking, and manual dexterity.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation setting with a diverse patient population.
• Demonstrated involvement in community outreach or educational opportunities.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and rehabilitation technologies.

Compensation and Benefits
